Reminds me of old "movies" my friends and I made when we were kids. A recurring theme was "Attack of the Killer Garbage Bags", and the mother garbage bag looked somewhat like this blob. :D
That red thing on top reminds me of some kind of multilayered flower, or coral.
If I leave laundry on the floor, somebody walks on it, says to herself "This is soft underfoot, just like my litter--it must be here for the same purpose." I have learned not to leave laundry on the floor :p
